Hi,
I don't know how this happened but the libraries in my sub-site no longer inherit permissions from the sub-site but a level up to the mainsite.
Structure is Planning/shared/library1
When I am in library1 permissions settings the ribbon says permissions are inherited from parent (Planning). It used to say permissions are inherited from parent (shared) but somehow that has changed for all 8 libraries below shared. Therefore if I change permissions at 'Shared' level nothing cascades down and I have to set each library below individually. 'Shared' also has the parent of 'Planning'.
Is there a way to edit the default parent which I have inadvertently done without realising? Or is this a bug caused by me messing around with permissions a lot today? Or something else maybe?
Is there a way to run the cache or cron job without having access to server settings but with site collection admin permissions, I would like to see if this does anything but not sure where to go.
Any ideas or tips would be useful?
