SharePoint Audit logs in Splunk

Hi,

i have a requirement where i need to show the SP Audit logs (of a site collection) in splunk. 

Does SharePoint 2013 expose any REST api for audit logs which i can use in splunk?

Or

There is any specific sql database where these audit logs are stored for each site collection ?

Please advise if any other alternative solution.
