Why multiple mails are going in sharepoint workflow.

Hi,

I am having one problem, I did migration from SP2010 to SP2013 the list that was created in SP2010 send multiple emails for same action.I did using pause but it stops workflow for minimum 5 min and that I don't want.

But, it is working fine for list that are created in SP2013.

Please suggest some solution on the same.
