How to Display the "Created By" and "Created" SharePoint fields in a Word document

Hi,

I have a document library with a single content type 'Document', which has an associated custom Word template.

I have added some Document Properties to the template, by going Insert > Quick Parts > Document Property, then choosing a SharePoint field, e.g. Assigned To. In general this works fine.

My problem is, I have a requirement to display the "Created By" and "Created" fields in the document, but these fields are not listed underInsert > Quick Parts > Document Property. Perhaps this is because these fields cannot be changed. 

Is there any way I can get these fields to appear in the Document Property list, or more likely, is there an alternative way of showing these two fields?

I have already looked into the following:

- Tried using the Author document property, but this shows the Word Author field, not SharePoint's Created By (whose internal name is Author).

- Tried Insert > Quick Parts > Field, chose CreateDate, but as expected this shows the date the Word document was actually created, not the SharePointCreated field.
