windows server appfabric --monitoring and persistence not configured-windows server 2012 and sql server 2012 prerequiste for sharepoint 2013

I installed windows server 2012, slq server 2012 and trying to install sharepoint 2013 server on a vhd

I downloaded the windows server appfabric 1.1 and running the configuration wizard I get message the monitoring and persistence are not configured

do I need to add any user groups any thing special is need to be done on sql server 2012
