Hi,
I am creating a term set by importing a csv file. This is for a US Based American English Site.
Some of my terms have diacritical marks, such as:
Française
Lotería
Loterías
Thüringen
After I import, they show up in the database and in SharePoint as the character with the diacritical mark replaced by a black diamond with a question mark in it, like "Organizaci�n", and although I can update the database to fix the broken character, and then cycle the Managed MetaData Service, I don't know if this is the right way to fix this, or if I have an option to change a database or sharepoint setting to allow me to import more terms sets with diacritical marks.
Is there a way I can fix this? Will installing the language packs help?
