Heres the deal. I have a quick launch heading that has a number of lists underneath it. The lists all have custom permissions (not inheriting). The issue is that users that do not have even READ access to a list can still see the list under quick launch and can click on the list. They cant actually see any items on the list, but they can see the link.
Now I am pretty darn sure that lists that a user doesn't have access to should not be showing for that user under quick launch. I am pretty positive that this is the behavior I have seen in the past and this is what I want. If a user only has access to one of the lists under quick launch then I want the user to only see that 1 list, and not the other 10 they dont have access to.
Again, pretty sure this is how it was working when I set this site up and tested.
So can anyone help with this? How can I get these lists to not show for users that dont have access? At the very least can you verify what the behavior is for you?
