Scenario
I need alerts for new items created in a list. I go to the alert me section of the list and subscribe to an alert.
Settings selected by me.
Change type = New Items are added
Send me alert for these changes = Anything Changes.
I was looking for alerts for only new items created. Instead i am getting alerts for new items and also when items are modified.
Q1. Is this normal SharePoint behavior?
Q2. Do options selected in "Send Alerts for these changes" overrides the options selected in "Change Type"
