Missing Field when trying to add a new page

Hi there,

I'm having trouble adding pages to our new SP2013 installation. No matter what subsite in the sitecollection I stand in it throws the error below. The page gets created but not checked in/published and the "Page Content" ("Click here to add new content") field is missing.

The funny thing is that the page gets created just fine with the "page content" field when I create it from the root in the sitecollection.

I checked the ULS log and I really cant see anything about a field name missing. I checked the custom pagelayout and nothing references to that ID either.

Any of you have some ideas on how to troubleshoot this further?
