We have an issue where after breaking inheritance on a new list that we had just created caused a lot of our other permissions to get erased as well, we were watching the user demo how they fixed an issue, and after hitting "Manage Permissions" to break inheritance then deleting all users except for himself we started getting issues as if he had wiped out EVERYONES permissions and not just the one on that list.
We don't know how this happened as he did everything properly but now we are stuck, one of our users can't even view workflows in sharepoint designer which is essential to this departments job.
We are now dealing with recovering permissions on a case by case basis but we were wondering if there was a way to simply revert his changes.
