Im having some difficult with sharepoint apps, on Sharepoint 2013, running under Server 2012/IIS8
I have gone ahead and created the necessary DNS zone, and also the appropriate Service and App application pools, as per the MSDN document.
The apps are downloading correctly, and I can add them to my site. Upon opening them (all), I am prompted for credentials as normal, but when the app opens up, it isn't functioning properly.
In particular, only part of the page displays. The sharepoint icon on the top left displays the broken link icon, and while I can click on some of the app functions, there are no text boxes, and I cannot save or run anything from the app menu. Suspecting
the issue was with IIS, I checked the http logs, and i am seeing several HTTP error codes, in particular several 500 0 0 15 when requesting a page called allsitecontent.aspx from within the app.
I have checked out the application pool sharepoint is running in under IIS, and everything seems to be set to default.
Does anybody have any ideas or insight as to what might be causing this?
