Does anyone have a solution to printing what is in the Enhanced Text Box field in SharePoint 2013? Assume that I added some text and an image, so maybe I have some tags like bold, paragraph and image.
SSRS 2012 will strip the image tag when interpreting the HTML so I thought about creating an External Assembly for SSRS that will take the XML in the SharePoint 2013 field and somehow turn this into an image and somehow provide this to the Image box in SSRS. No information online on how I might do this.
So while the Enhanced Text Box on screen allows you to say capture a screenshot with some annotations, from what I can see there is no way to print what you can see on the list view webpart.
I find this so unbelievable that I must be wrong. However, I can see little improvement in SSRS 2012. Seems that External Assemblies must still be .NET 3.0 or VB functions!
Is there a third party report engine for SharePoint 2013 that will actually support the SP 2013 feature set?
