I am creating a workbook in Excel 2013, adding a named item to a range of cells, saving that workbook to a SharePoint 2013 site, and adding an Excel Web App web part to the page.
I then browse to the document in web part properties, hit ok and I can see the full spreadsheet. However, the view drop down to display the web part isn't there even though I enabled view switching in the web part, which in the past meant there were no named items found. If I manually type in the named item in the web part properties, I end up with an empty web part.
The strange thing is that this worked at least one time on the web site. I have tried creating a different document, creating a new site, and resetting iis. I have looked at the browser view options when saving, and if I change the drop down there to Items in the Workbook, I see the named range under All Named Ranges (see image)

Clik here to view.
I have checked the ULS logs and nothing jumped out at me. I am really at a loss as to what to try next. Any ideas?
