Description of reported issue
- Open any document library with a list view which groups results
- Locate a group which is not the first listed group and which contains more documents than the maximum number of items to display (to exercise pagination functionality)
- Expand the group to list the first page of documents for the group
- Navigate to the next page of documents for the group using the pagination forward button at the bottom of the list
- Navigate back to the previous page of documents for the group using the pagination backward button at the bottom of the list
In this scenario, after navigation backwards, the set of documents displayed under the selected group heading is not the first page of documents in the group, but rather is the first page of documents for the entire library (i.e. independent of any grouping).
Environment: Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit with single server installation of SharePoint Foundation 2010 with SP1 applied.
Is there a solution available to address this issue? I note that at least one of the hotfixes published refers to issues with list navigation, but not specifically the issue described above.
Thanks
